We are proud to announce that our innovative sliding sleeve used in a synchronizer for a dedicated hybrid transmission has been awarded at the 2025 Powder Metallurgy (PM) Design Excellence Awards, sponsored by the Metal Powder Industries Federation (MPIF)
Highlights of our award-winning component:
- Net-shape production: Produced net-shape, except for the external fork groove.
- Patented process: Radially pressed back tapers and ball pockets in the internal spline.
- Full density: Achieves full surface density in critical areas.
- Automated production: Fully automated flow line including heat treatment.
- Efficiency: Replaces a machined wrought steel part.
