PMG Polmetasa Receives BWI Supplier Excellence Award 2026

On December 15th, PMG Shanghai was awarded the `Quality Excellence Award´ at Geely Supplier Day. PMG´s Shanghai plant supplies Synchronizer Sub-Assembly components to Geely. This award recognizes PMG´s ability on quality control and service performance over the last year.
October 28th, 2023 PMG celebrated another milestone in its history - the completion of the new factory building at PMG´s LEADER plant in Yangzhou, called `Phase II´. Mr. Friedrich Erfurth (Chairman of the Board), Mr. Jiabin Wang (CEO PMG China), Mrs. Zhixian Qian (CFO PMG China), Mrs. Lian Ge (GM PMG LEADER), leaders from government as well as PMG employees and their families celebrated the opening ceremony.
PMG was honored to be awarded the 2022 `Quality Excellence Award´ by Magna. As a long-term customer of PMG, this honor undoubtedly laid an even more solid foundation for long-term cooperation between the two sides.
In the powder metal process, recycling of green parts scrap is a wonderful way to save resources and costs at the same time. Compared with other technologies, the PM process itself is already known for its cost effectiveness and sustainability. This near net shape process has high material utilization and lower energy consumption. Within the production process of powder metal parts, the desired shape is pressed (compacted) from powder (green part) and then cured by heat (sintered part).
On February 28th, Leader Yangzhou was awarded the "Excellent Quality Performance Award" during the Chengdu Ningjiang Showa supplier conference. This award recognizes Leader's ability to produce a quality product, on time with the highest level of customer service for many years.
On January 18th, PMG Shanghai was awarded the `Annual Excellent Supplier 2022´ from BWI Beijing. PMG Shanghai supplies high quality shock absorber components to BWI. PMG Shanghai was also awarded `Annual Excellent Supplier 2021´ from BWI Beijing.
During 2022, the expansion of PMG´s Leader plant in Yangzhou has been underway. Among others, several highly effective automatic production lines (`super-lines´) will be installed, with an annual capacity of approximately 165 million pieces for shock absorber applications.
On October 26th, Leader Yangzhou was awarded the `Annual Excellent Supplier Award´ & `Outstanding Performance Award´ at the 2022 Tenneco Supplier Day. Leader Yangzhou has provided powder metal shock absorber components to Tenneco for many years with a focus on quality, delivery and cost competitiveness.
